An Independent Secondary School That Provides Education Through Wholeness
At Highview College, we want to understand what your family needs. We want to support you as you raise your family, and know that we have the privilege to help your child to grow into a well-adjusted, productive member of society. By supporting their educational and emotional/social growth, we help them overcome their challenges to be resilient, confident and independent learners for life. Providing an excellent education does not have to cost the earth, and we consider the economic impact of our fees carefully so we can best serve the community.
"Amazing teachers and awesome school" - Chrissie
The Strengths of Independence
Because we can offer small VCE classes with passionate and capable teachers, our Year 11 and 12 students thrive while undertaking a robust and challenging academic program. Our Christian values influence our community, and we offer strong pastoral care in a supportive environment. We employ teachers who are committed, energetic and caring, so that they look at the individual needs of each student.
Extensive Extra-Curricular Programme
Far beyond just reading, writing and arithmetic, our students are motivated by a wide range of educational opportunities. With a strong history of healthy competition with the Independent Country Co-Educational Schools’ Sporting Association, our athletes have the opportunity to develop and shine. Students rise to the occasion of the Energy Breakthrough, with strong performance in design, construction, display and presentation categories. Highview College takes regular opportunities for overseas mission and service trips, helping our students realise the impact their contribution to places with limited clean drinking water or education. With an extensive instrumental music program, Highview College students can develop their skills and be a part of one of our ensembles.
