Campbells Creek Swim, Learn, Survive
Does Your Child Know How To Survive In The Water?
When we were parents of young children, this is the question that made us search for a swim school with experienced and qualified staff whose priorities were water awareness and safety. While other places were focusing on developing butterfly stroke and speed in aquatic races, we knew in our hearts that unless our kids were taught to swim and survive, we wouldn't be satisfied.
Swim, Learn, Survive
When anywhere near water, these are three of the most important things. Make your family aware of their surroundings and how to instinctively keep themselves safe in the water. The only way for that to happen is through a consistent educational program that builds habits of water awareness, body knowledge and thorough application of philosophy over and over again. Be prepared for unexpected circumstances when your child is out of your sight and out of your reach. Understand how to regulate your breathing, how to conserve your energy, and how to make efficient strong strokes so you can manage extended periods in the water with confidence.

"Severe chronic osteoarthritis greatly restricts my daily activities and limits my range of therapeutic exercises. But in a pool, with the temperature correctly set at a constant 34C, I get freedom of movement not otherwise available to me. The caring and friendly owners and the clean, sparkling water, free from the smell of chlorine, make it a relaxing and enjoyable experience." - John
